Privacy Notice

Last Updated: January 30, 2019

This Privacy Notice details our company and how we collect, use, and share personal information about you. It also explains your privacy rights.

We are Spyder Byte Studio, LLC, the creators of Picky Pizza and other software products and services.

This Privacy Notice applies to personal information that we collect through Picky Pizza and websites we control, like www.spyderbytestudio.com and www.pickypizza.com (collectively “Products and Services”).

1. What Personal Information Does Spyder Byte Studio Collect?

The personal information we may collect about you through the Products and Services are grouped into the following categories:

1.1 Information that you provide voluntarily

Our Products and Services may ask you to provide personal information voluntarily. For example, if you use our Contact Us sections on our company website, www.spyderbytestudio.com, or product sites (e.g www.pickypizza.com), information such as the following may be collected:

  • your name, email, and your company website or URL (if applicable)
  • questions, comments, messages, or requests for service
  • player names or nick names (these can be any text you wish to use)
  • the language you would like Picky Pizza to use (e.g. English, German, Spanish)

The personal information you are asked to provide is collected so that we may provide you with answers or products and services at your request.

Picky Pizza allows you to play in a Pass-n-Play mode. You are asked to provide a player name or nickname for each of the two players in the game. These “names” or aliases can be any text you wish to use. These values are stored locally on the device for the duration of the game. Upon completion of the game they are immediately removed from the device. These values are never collected by Spyder Byte Studio, LLC.

1.2 Information we get from other sources (“third party”)

Picky Pizza allows you to play against other online opponents. This is accomplished through Apple’s Game Center services. These services provide Picky Pizza with a display name, alias, and a non-personally identifying ID. Picky Pizza shows the alias text within game play. The Apple Game Center provided views show the display name for those opponents that are your “friends” within the Game Center services. Picky Pizza uses the non-personally identifying ID to determine the currently active player. Picky Pizza does not store any of these values locally on the device nor are they collected or stored anywhere within our Products or Services.
